Introduction into ‘can only the blood be used
for atonement?’
Abraham, Noah, Jacob didn’t pray to Jesus or
Holy Spirit, but G-d accounted them as righteous. (why new testament says no
other ways to be saved but only through Jesus?) David wasn’t perfect, he sinned
but he was called as righteous. He repented. G-d taught jews not to sacrifice their kids,
would G-d sacrifice His own kid, when the righteous way of life will still be
required after Jesus death? Truth is, sacrifice is never enough to be forgiven
for your sins (sacrifice of a wicked person is abomination unto G-d). Way to be
forgiven is not through sacrifice but by repentance(changing). Faith without
repentance does nothing. Gen 4:7 If thou doest well, shalt thou not be
accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door: and unto thee shall
be his desire, and thou
shalt rule over him. (we must rule over sin(we have power over sin). If
it’s true that Jesus died for our sins, couse all fell short of G-d’s glory and
were sinful ,then why did He wait for thousands of years? We should have known
from the beginning that man is sinful. Instead of destroying people with flood,
G-d should have brought Jesus then. Biblical Christians now believe that all
jews and non jews who don’t accept Jesus are going to eternal barbeque in hell.
Even if they were moral good people? Only couse they didn’t believe Jesus they’ll
burn? Only because no one can be saved in anyway, but through Jesus? Honestly,
the 1st challenge for my faith was when I saw muslim doctors in
Syria sacrificing their lives for their patients, while trying to help them in
a war. They could run away to a safe place, but they wouldn’t. They were the
main target and most of them died and still die. They chose not to be afraid to
die, because they said they believe it’s good for them to die with such death in
G-d’s sight. Jesus said in John 15:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his
life for his friends. (I thought to myself, and they will still go to eternal
barbeque?) I have many many thoughts and observations right now, but I won’t do
that. I just wanted to post this challenge for real Christians and at the same
time possibility to correct me if you really care and think I’m wrong:
atonement only with blood sacrifice? Or no? I’ll post these Scriptures below
and you can PM me, if you have something to say. Thank you.
Can only the blood be
used for atonement?
1)Both David and his son Solomon from his father’s teachings
clearly knew that iniquity is purged by mercy and by truth and not by blood
sacrifice.
Psalm 40:6 Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire;
mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not
required. (and Christians twisted it into Heb 10:5 Wherefore when he cometh
into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a
body hast thou prepared me)
Prov (patarles)21:3 To do justice and judgment is more
acceptable to the Lordthan
sacrifice.
Prov 16:6 By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the
fear of theLord men depart from evil.
2)Also watch these: 1 Sam 15:22 And Samuel said, Hath the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings
and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is
better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.
2 Samuel 12:13 And David said unto Nathan, I have sinned
against the Lord. And
Nathan said unto David, The Lord also hath put away thy sin; thou shalt
not die. (David simply confessed his sin and G-d forgave him without blood
sacrifice)
Eccl.(ekleziast) 5:1 Guard thy foot when thou
goest to the house of God, and be ready to hearken: it is better than when
fools give sacrifices; for they know not that they do evil.
Iza 1:11-12 To
what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? saith the LORD: I am
full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of
fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or
of lambs, or
of he goats. When ye come to appear before me, who hath required this at
your hand, to tread my courts? Isa 1:17,18 Learn to do well; seek judgment,
relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow. Come now, and let us reason
together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as
white as snow; though they be red like crimson,
they shall be as wool.
3) Isa 6:5 Then said I, Woe is me!
for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst
of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts. Then
flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had
taken with the tongs from off the altar: And he laid it
upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is
taken away, and thy sin purged. (Isaiah is cleansed from his sin by seraphim,
when he simply confesses his guilt)
4) in Isaiah 38 Ezekiah repents in prayer and G-d forgives him.
Jer 4:14 O Jerusalem, wash thine heart from wickedness,
that thou mayest be saved. How long shall thy vain thoughts lodge within thee?
5) Hos (ozej) 3:4 For the children of Israel shall abide many days
without a king, and without a prince, and without a sacrifice, and without an
image, and without an ephod, and without teraphim (it was already predicted)
Hos 6:6
For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than
burnt offerings.
Hos 14:2 Take with you words, and turn to the Lord: say unto him, Take away all
iniquity, and receive us graciously: so will we render the calves of our lips.
6) Jonah 3:5-10 (very bad pagan nation of Nineveh
repented with fasting and G-d forgave them.)
Jonah 4:11 And should not I spare Nineveh, that
great city, wherein are more than sixscore thousand persons that cannot discern
between their right hand and their left hand; and also much cattle? (G-d showed
mercy to Nineveh, even though they were pagans, but they repented from their
works)
Micah (mikejo) 6:8 Wherewith
shall I come before the LORD, and bow myself before the high God? shall
I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves of a year old? Will
the LORD be pleased with thousands of rams, or with ten thousands of rivers of oil?
shall I give my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul? He
hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require
of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?
Isa27:9 By this therefore shall the iniquity of Jacob be
purged; and this is all the fruit to take away his sin; when he maketh all the
stones of the altar as chalkstones that are beaten in sunder, the groves and
images shall not stand up.
Show me one place in the bible where does it say that human sacrifice is acceptable for our sins. We’re not born into original sin. Theres a special place for a sacrifice to be made. In the third temple sacrifices had to be made. So why did Jesus
die then? Ezek 40-48 talks about sin and sacrifices for sin. Zach
14 blood sacrifices will be done in the end too.
